Cohabitation Social housing project - Design process DIA
"Cohabitation: Blending Habitat and Togetherness"
In this video, I will showcase the design process of my studio project during my master's studies at Dessau International Architecture (DIA). By sharing this, I aim to provide insights into my approach to the design process and highlight the knowledge I have gained throughout the studio.
During the winter semester, under the guidance of Professor Ralf Nibergall, our team consisting of Ahd Farrag and Hossam Elyamani embarked on the journey of exploring the concept of cohabitation. This collaborative effort allowed us to delve into the fusion of habitat and togetherness, examining how spatial design can foster a sense of community and shared living experiences.
Through our project, we aimed to address the challenges and potentials of cohabitation, envisioning innovative architectural solutions that promote social interaction, inclusivity, and a harmonious coexistence. By considering diverse perspectives and employing design principles learned during our studies, we sought to create spaces that facilitate meaningful connections and enhance the quality of life for inhabitants.
We invite you to join us on this journey as we unveil our design process, showcasing our ideas, inspirations, and the collective effort that went into shaping our studio project focused on the concept of cohabitation.
Note: The names Ahd Farrag and Hossam Elyamani are mentioned as part of the team involved in the project.
